Went out to Turtle Run Winery today for their “Blast from the past” and glad we did. Many great wines from past to present to sample and buy. The winery is warm inside and they have a nice heated tent out front which is a nice spot to sit and enjoy your wine. For those that didn’t make it today there is plenty of the older wines left to sample. What a fun thing to do on a cold day
Brought a van load of folks here today. They really enjoyed the tasting and service in a beautiful setting. Autumn would be a great time to visit this unique location. It is very easy to find using Google Maps as it is close to Interstate 64 not far from Louisville, Kentucky. There is plenty of parking in a quiet setting.
We had a great time! The owner makes it such a great time through out your tasting experience. So many excellent wines to sample. We definitely recommend a visit.

I ordered a bottle of Traminette online and really enjoyed the experience! My husband and I are slowly trying a bottle of wine from each state, so we've ordered a lot of wine online. I appreciate that Turtle Run provides a lot of information on their website and I could find numerous articles and interviews about them so I had a good idea of what I wanted to order. Not only was the wine great and nicely packed for transport, but I also received a very sweet handwritten note and a winery brochure. I love the personal touch to an online order!

Louisville Brass and Electric kicked off the 2022 Season @ Turtle Run. LB-E always provides a myriad of music genres. Great music, sunny pleasant day, and delightful choices of new wines. I stopped in on my way to see my son up in Indianapolis. I'm pretty sure they were open.... But since it's such a small winery..... I couldn't tell!
They treated me like a king. I wound up leaving with three or four bottles of cool independent wine! We drink it all in a weekend. Friendly staff. Great prices and a pleasant place to visit!
It's my next stopping point on the way to see my son! Love you guys!!
